SmileDirectClub promises to fix your smile for about a third of the cost of traditional braces with at-home teeth straightening. A number of patients say the aligners instead caused painful problems, which the company says are likely the fault of the patients not following the recommendations. Now nine members of Congress are calling for an investigation into the company.
